Link to Big Cat Rescue Form letter

changed subject line to:

Honor Mike by REPLACING him with a new cub

Changed the body of their letter to this....

Dear Dr. Alexander, Dr. Baker and the LSU community as a whole,

I took this opportunity to hijack the Big Cat Rescue site and use their technology to write a note in support of getting another Mike.

Mike VI was a very special tiger, playful, affectionate, and a big ham who knew when his picture was being taken. He was taken care of in an exemplary fashion by Dr. Baker and the student caretakers who I know are as brokenhearted as I am over the tragic loss of Mike VI.

Please dust off Chancellor O'Keefe's letter to PETA and get it out on the street again.

thank you,

info@bigcatrescue.org

we should all email them

I asked them if they though the tigers needing rescued was over served, because that was the avenue LSU was going to explore.

All of the things they are accusing LSU of doing is not correct...doesnt LSU Habitat and care rank top 2 in the world for a Tiger?

we are all painfully aware the tiger doesn't go to games anymore. Lets assume that will continue

If you get a cub and slowly introduce him to large crowds he won't be intimidated by them. Ala Mike VAlso I'd rather get rid of the fireworks and bring the tiger back if that's what it took.

Bring him to baseball games. Walk him around campus when he's still a little guy. Bring him to basketball games then work your way up and introduce him to a lesser football game while he's still young. Also teach him to roar when a certain word is said. Then when he begins to mature bring his arse to the Bama game in '18 and stick him infront of the tunnel and make them run around him while he bellows out roars. Goddamn I get chills just thinking about it.

there are a bunch of so called "animal rights" people in Florida pushing an agenda to not have a Mike VII...on their site, they have an EDITABLE form letter pushing the agenda not to allow a Mike VII...change their subject line and body of the letter and send it out...

if they're that stupid to put it out there in that form, use it to counter their agenda...

all you have to do is change the subject line and delete their drivel and put your own letter in...

if they're that stupid....you reap what you sow!!!!

I don't see how 1 email out of 100,000+ is going to make a difference

You know, using their letter/site to send a pro-Mike email might not be the best idea. They'll likely use it in the count for how many people are against LSU getting a new tiger, and won't necessarily realize that you've edited to be the opposite of that.

So fricking silly. These guys are a rescue group. LSU only takes rescue tigers. I'm so tired of these self righteous fricks trying to tell us what to do.
