I have a feeling that LSU will get screwed in an upcoming SEC game.

The SEC wants to assure that LSU gets a loss to assure that the 6-1, 7-1 nightmare scenario doesn't happen.

I see this in our future:

Fornette breaks a 72 Yard Touchdown Run:

Tre'Davious White with a pick 6:

Good luck to them. The next one is in Baton Rouge.

I think you are right.

Bug Eyes and company have been given a mandate--make DAMN sure LSU does not finish 6-1.

There is a way to handle that. Blow everyone you play out.

it's kind of like people wanting term limits for politics, we have term limits, it's called the vote, if we take care of business on the field and hang some boot, we can't be screwed by anyone but ourselves

I said this right after the cancellation was first announced. A loss for us will get Stanley off the hook and it is so much more convenient if our game with uf is irrelevant.

Sounds nice and sanctimonious in theory, but remember those other guys are pretty good and also earned scholarships. So when the absurd personal foul call against Vadal Alexander virtually cost LSU the win against BAMA in 2014 and the Patrick Peterson interception is disallowed despite video confirmation and the picked up pass interference against Auburn in 2006 occurs you can be as sanctimonious as you want. The officiating affected those games in major ways against teams with comparable talent.

There were numerous officiating errors vs Auburn this year that had an effect on the outcome. The same level of officiating errors could affect the remainder of the schedule. Lets hope the Tigers can take care of business on the field so that officiating has no influence on the outcome. That remains to be seen, but in a close game they will not be the recipient of a beneficial call or replay decision even when it is clearly justified.

You forgot the more likely scenario. Overturned by the permanent replay official Tom Bugeyes Ritter

There's going to be lots of flags on both sides just to not make it so obvious. But LSU's flags will come at pivotal moments.

but incumbents have a huge advantage, that why such an overwhelming percentage of incumbents easily get re-elected (>90%).

And it's why we end up with career politicans, who've been in Congress for decades (on both sides of the aisle).

Term limits may be the only good way to clear out the entrenched politicians, from both parties.

guys, I'd bet every penny I have that the SEC won't allow a team to get to Atlanta if another team in the mix hasn't played all their conference games. It just isn't going to happen. So you can take off the tinfoil hats.

Not really, but it was a blessing in disguise regardless.
