he's got to win the job, and it's Ok if Max beats him out. but the man throws a great long ball. i know he needs a little more poise and some chemistry with the receivers. he could do awesome things if he pulls it together and the oline performs well.

for this season i am expecting more upside from brennan than max, but i like max a lot. nothing against him, for sure.

Yeah I feel the same way. I like them both and don't have a problem with either starting but pulling for Myles.

I don’t understand pulling for one player over another. I want the best QB to play

Whoever Kim Mulkey decides is the QB, that's who I'm gonna I'm gonna be cheering for.

I want the best QB to play but I hope it’s Myles. As long and as much as he’s gone through since being here, he almost deserves it.

Who’s that?

This is Kim Mulkey day. Is that her son?

Brennan blocks half of the playbook. No zone read. No RPO

The whole board is pulling for Brennan. If you state that any of the other QBs might be better, you get downvoted into oblivion. No one likes seeing a likeable guy not win, but that's whats about to happen, and LSU's job is to win.

Gotta agree with you. Brennan might have the stronger arm and prettier ball, but I think Max ultimately wins because of the legs advantage.

It's an entirely new day when LSU has this much arm talent. Brennan has shown a lot by sticking it out. If he earns the job great for him.

I’m rooting for all our guys. I love the pressure the position puts on an individual to step up and contribute tremendously.

It’s so unfortunate all this work goes into a spot where ultimately only one of the guys can play. I wish all them the best, even if it means some guys have to transfer and play somewhere else.

This is false. A lot of people want Max to start. They probably outnumber the people wanting Brennan to start honestly.

Max is like butter when under pressure.

Myles looks like a guy who doesn’t like being under pressure.

Myles is going to be the starter regardless and even though Max is far better. Because if Max is anointed the starter, Myles will inevitably be the second QB along with TJ to hit the transfer portal. Which means only true freshman Garrett Nussmeier would remain on the team as the backup.

Furthermore, if Myles is anointed the starter, Max isn't going anywhere because in all likelihood, Max will be the starter in 2022 and who knows, Myles may get hurt again.

It is certainly hard to pull against a guy who has paid his dues and stuck it out like Brennan has. I wish the best for both guys. If Myles' wins I hope he can get better at extending plays with his legs and moving around the pocket. Honestly we will be fine with either Max or Myles.

Myles has elite arm talent... hopefully the rest can be coached up or improved with experience...just make it through UCLA then 2 cupcakes then steamroll to Bama

Zone reads with him keeping yes but the RPO game is wide open with Brennan. One day LSU fans will learn that the R part of RPO does not have to mean the QB is the running option.

Agreed...the way most folks here react to the RPO, you'd think we were still running the wishbone.
