The only starting QB in our history who's even remotely comparable to McMillan is Andrew Hatch. Only Hatch was a far superior athlete.

Lindsey Scott should get the snaps at QB if a backup were to get some next season.

You got "Shunned" for thinking you know more than the LSU QB coach.

I'm fairly confident that Matt Canada knows how to evaluate QB's, their strengths and weaknesses, (Both physically and mentally) and what they bring to the table.

Always amazes me that a few people on here think they know more about evaluating the QB's and who should play, than the actual QB Coach.

If MC thinks McMillan gives LSU the best chance of winning the most games, he'll start. If he has some kind of deficit, he won't and will not get many snaps in games. Simple as that.

Nobody on here knows more than the coaches do, so stop with the ego enriched "So and so should start because I like Him."

That what make the debate much fun. It's plain to see that in the first three scrimmages of spring football McMillan is outshining our suppose to be starter. Coaches always say that numbers Dont lie. Go check the numbers

I think the guy to really keep an eye on is Narcisse... His athleticism is incredible.. I know Oregeron wouldnt start a true freshman in front of etling, but if he goes down I think Canada might choose Narcisse.. gonna be intersting to watch for sure.. Brennon has to redshirt, he has to put on at least 20lbs to be in the conversation.. thats what he should be doing now.. adding weight..

usually true, but sometimes the coaches are terrible (for example, Cam/Les).

"Backup" always better than the starter.

It's easy when your starter is just not that good. You can have all the intangibles in the world, but if you fold under pressure, have weak arm, and can't slide, then intangibles are wasted.

Say what you want about this just being Spring practice, but DE's past stats have never changed much and that's saying a lot because they started off horrible. This is going to be a long summer for people who back any QB of their choice.

If the younger guys continue to make strides and improve each week, there should be no reason to just hand the starting spot to the previous guy simply because it sounds good and he's a 5th senior with his last chance to play. I hope it's earned.

Barring the rant kidnapping Etling, there is no way he is no under center against BYU.

What I would love to see though is someone like McMillan utilized in different packages that maybe Etling is not good at.

What are we talking about? Practice? We're talking about practice, man. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We ain't talking about the game. We're talking about practice, man. - Allen Iverson
