matt(New Orleans, LA): Mark, what is your take on the LSU qb situation? I hear Jefferson doesn't know the plays, he is a true freshman, etc. Why not give the kid a chance? Other than a bowl game, we have nothing left to play for. Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!!

Mark Schlabach: (2:34 PM ET ) Was surprised he didn't play against Alabama. Didn't they burn his redshirt with a few snaps against Tulane? I would have tried anything, as poorly as Lee played against Alabama. I know it was a tough situation against a great defense, but get somebody with some mobility back there.

Lee's mobility isn't the problem....it's his decision making that's killing us

Jefferson cannot POSSIBLY throw more interceptions than Lee. 5/30 for 67 yards!? gimme a break.

I actually thought he was making the right decisions for the most part. He was calling good audibles and throwing the right guys... He just missed his mark by a couple yards. The last interception was obviously a bad decision, but the others seemed to be just poorly thrown balls... and he had many incomplete passes to wide open guys, making me think he was making the right decisions... just inaccurate.

For all of you who continue to make excuses for my buddy JJLee, whom I'm sure is a great kid with excellent potential, I can't unburn this out of my head:

13-34-4

And so I'm with Schlabach.
