Look what Bobby Bowden did for FSU you ingrates. He can stay as long as he wants, do whatever he wants, go out on his own terms. Winning doesn't matter. 
Bobby had two national championships. (yeah in 31 years)
Bobby also was settling into 7-6 seasons, had steele on the defensive staff and some of the other coaches he thought was great are no longer in football.
Fisher had a national championship before his bags were unpacked.

One thing, Les wasnt going be here after the 4 years were up. Until all this came out he had the #1 class in the country. That was dwindling away at FSU, especially with UF winning titles under Meyer. But Yeah Jimbo came in and won a title with Miami and UF being dumpster fires and there not being anyone strong enough in the ACC to compete on and off the field.

Well you forget FSU had face that "powerful" Auburn team under the magician Gus Malzahn. You know a "SEC" coach and all. The one who had just upset bama, the greatest team there ever was.

I think some are not digesting the OP's point...
Despite some fans against kicking a legend to the curb, it was time for the hugely successful Bowden to go, just like now it's time for the hugely successful Miles to go, and in both cases Jimbo Fisher was/is the one to come in and get everything back up to par in short order.

It has advantages over the gator chomp. For instance the tomahawk chop only needs one arm. You have to use two with the chomp. This means you have to sit your drink down somewhere while you are doing it. That opens it up to being spilled.
