But I mostly feel sorry for Leonard Fournette and his chance to bring to LSU the 2nd Heisman, and first since 1959.
Sure Stovall was screwed by the voters, but LF was screwed by the damn LSU coaching staff

Imho I put a lot of that blame on the o-line. Coaching has been bad, but the hasnt done a damn thing the past two games in order to help Harris/Fournette succeed.

The offensive line went from above average to Sun Belt. If Fournette was on ULM trying to run on Bama, it would've looked just like it did.

Aside from coaching, injuries at FB and TE have really hurt us.

So this is the new pumper meme? Nah the oline?

Tough to block 8 or 9 guys with 6.

We keep blaming the o-line but our o-line has faded down the stretch for a while now.

At some point you have to hold the coaching staff accountable.

Honestly Grime's line has been an exponential upgrade over Stud's overall. It honestly looks like we fade after Alabama, or at least that's the trend the two seasons with Grimes.

All in all I'm not ready to call for Grimes' head, because I think he shored up a lot of issues from Stud and deserves to get all of his guys in.

Yeah, the o-lines blocking was dominate the first 7 games of the year. Too damn bad the coaching staff didn't leave them alone instead of getting in the way.

frick me running, some of you people and your hate for Miles and his staff.

I feel bad for them too. Based on things that Les says, he demands the best from his players, wanting them to be the best that they can be. Problem is that he personally talks the talk but does not walk the walk. Time after time he points out what needs fixing, and promises that it will get fixed, but never gets it done. He does not seem to be able to take a hard look at himself and reach the conclusion that he just might be the problem and actually change some of his ways. It is very sad that he has wasted the potential of so many players by not allowing them to be all they can be be.

Coaches share the blame but players are on the field. They have not gotten better with stupid penalties, coverages, being in position defensively, etc. so that is on them.

Enough blame to go around.

There is ways to mitigate your OL getting blown up.

THIS - After the Gump loss he was quoted, LF, as saying that his main job was "keeping this team together". I thought it was an ODD comment - but clearly there is shite going on inside the team before the Gump game.

Sure they were but they weren't exactly playing solid teams either.

I think he still has a chance to surge back. It's pretty apparent that he never had a chance vs Bama. His stats were alright against Arkansas, but we got away from the run because of the deficit.

Play lights out these next two games and he can still win it.

LF was screwed by an NFL caliber front 7. Coaches had nothing to do with it. If we were just in for the Heisman, I would have taken him out with a fake injury to save the embarrassment.

This shite sounds Liberal and getting old.
At what point do the individual/doubleteam blocking assignment failures own this?
From what I've witnessed, each member of the OL would get annihilated in Big Cat vs his responsibility in last 2 contests.

As the season winds down upcoming opponents are stacking the box against the LSU o-line. They simply cannot block the numbers. They are outmanned. A fix would have been to run a more "open" offensive scheme i.e.: counters, reverses, and some passes in non-obvious situations. Everyone is keying on LF and company.
