So what? A lot of NFL teams and college teams get evaluations wrong.

we aren't exactly getting "top" guys.

BH was the 6th highest QB in the country

He is playing in a system that takes way longer to develop in

Thats why we need to get 1-2 QBs EVERY year.

I would rather a different direction or at least attempt even if it means losing a recruit without much chest

I also want an OC on the sidelines furthering consulting with players and calling from the sidelines.

We have too much fricking confusion on the play call and all the relaying and Uncertainty

Cam's QB evaluations are awful. We don"t have a QB that could, with the exception of Vandy, start on any team in the SEC. Harris is a basket case.

Has nothing to do with talent or potential. Has a lot more to do with poor QB development at LSU for the last 8 years.

Cam got way too much credit for developing Mettenberger in 2013 when he showed flashes of his ability already to be a great QB to end the 2012 season.

The problem is that Cameron seems to be a great polisher much like Crowton, but horrible at initial development of young QBs. Everyone glowed over his resume for developing great QBs in the NFL, but he didn't get chop liver handed to him, he got several top 2 round QBs to work with.

He has yet to prove any ability in last 20 years to develop raw QBs in college, and that will be the downfall of his system.

He was fired by Baltimore and their offense improved after he left. Think about that.

Why, because our aerial assault-style offense is so hard to grasp? What are you talking about actually? (serious question).

False. It's been Cam's game for the last 2 years.

Negative. Eason just pushed Franks back to us. #DemHoesAintLoyal

Cameron relies on the deep ball too much.

Why do we only throw a fade inside the redzone

I know miles has a firm grip and Wont change. But it would at lest show he's serious about things changing.

The reads and progressions a QB in our offense needs to make to run it effectively are more complicated than a spread QB's reads.

We can run an extremely efficient offense when the QB 100% gets its. We saw it in 2013, but the coaches close up everything when the QB doesn't 100% get it.

So if Harris could play at any school but his inability to learn & execute LSU's offense is the problem, who's fault is that? I believe the person who is supposed to "develop & teach" him should carry some of that blame. Cameron has not developed ONE qb at LSU & if you want to blame the qb's ability for their shortcomings, then that proves that Cam cannot evaluate talent either.

I like keeping Cam too... shortest route to getting Miles out.

Then just cut out the middle man and let Les call the plays directly.

the best chance to land franks is if eason goes to UF which looks like it is going to happen.

He will have to take a hefty pay cut. 1+ million for a puppet coordinator is retarded for the product shown on the field.

Of course HC has a say in this as with every program.
It's put together via staff effort off of film evals, from which a playsheet is derived with some scripted plays and down/distance plays expected to be most productive vs opponent.
Those that hate the coach surely give him way too much credit in saying he coached 110 wins all by himself.

We need an OC to challenge Miles not a yes man that goes along with his shite show on offense. I would rather someone throwing headsets and head butting the ten gallon ball cap off that stubborn noggin.

I'm not trying to defend Cam here, but go back and watch the last two to three games after Bama, Miss St., Arkansas, and prepare to bang your head against a wall watching Mett look like crap.

I think those games will tell you all you need to know about how Quarterbacks are developed here, and I don't think it's all Cam's fault.

So which offensive staff would he trust his job security enough to check D from above?
Vs Bama he had a whole halftime to speak with Harris and got an INT 1st play for his efforts.
