I do love Les - but did anyone get a "Coach Klein" feel from him last night?

Particularly close to the end - I saw him on the sidelines - arms folded and his head down as he paced.

Seeing as how we didn't make any adjustments at halftime, I pictured him just crutching his playbook underneath his desk until halftime was over.

I'm not trying to hate on Les, but he seemed out of it and not like himself last night.

Good stuff Cornstarch. Yes, I did get that feeling. Was like Coach Klein in the MudBowl minus his playbook & his star player Bouche.

Got the feeling Les was boxed in with a very bad QB situation.

Actually, this game played out like The Waterboy in another way.

As others have pointed out, when Jefferson threw that shovel pass pick right to Mosley and then viciously (not dirty) tackled him was just like Bobby Boucher throwing the ball really hard at NUMBER 62 and then knocking him out.

That was a hell of a tackle by Jefferson. I wish we could have saw that sort of agression against everyone else...and in a positive manner.

However I noticed that also. NOBODY seemed themselves. Les was not himself the entire off time, he was not himself before the Les Miles show, he was not himself in the half time interview.

He seemed very quiet, subdued, and at a general loss.

Honestly, last night looked like something out of a movie where the coach tells his team before the game that he's taking a job elsewhere.

The players, other than on Defense, for the most part looked disinterested and Les looked like someone waiting to get somewhere with only the game standing in his way.

I have never seen a game with less enthusiasm shown by a team or its coach in regards to the game or making adjustments, outside of NFL and College games where the coach is not coming back (fired/another job).

I saw this also. The entire vibe of this game was just off, it felt weird.

He had a plan a and no plan b. That's the simple fact about it that and we could not pick up the blitz for the life of us.
