Most who say we have a negative fans, base their opinion from this site. TD.com has made the fans base look negative. There are some who complain about the bonehead decisions miles makes and the. Those who complain about those complaining so its nothing but complaining.

At 55 years of age, I agree with you as I experience the same. This board is good, but to believe that it represents LSU fans as a whole is misleading. The future is bright and I can't wait to see what next year and the years after have in store for this Damn Strong Football Team.

It is mostly the nature of the internet (allowing cowards to act like idiots), but it does seem to be especially disproportionately negative here given how successful the LSU program has actually been.

i think this has the most to do with it.
your appreciation is probably greater for seeing the program from where it was, to where it is. plus you've seen other programs in college football succeed then falter. so you probably appreciate the moment more than people that caught attention in 03.
plus some people just voice their opinions more than others, which is very easy to do here. cause if youre proved wrong you cant just get off for the night and wait for a thread the next morning.

I could not have said it better. "Punks behind a mouse" is a phrase I've heard. Interesting.

I think it is also important to note how a negative opinion is expressed. Having a constructive argument is part of the value of this board, but resorting to name-calling and over the top ranting is what makes the mood of the board seem excessively negative.
