I went to four games away from Tiger Stadium last year and this will go down as one of my all time favorites. Just below Ole Miss and Alabama '03. (didn't make to T-Town last year)

My favorite part of a road game is watching the opposing fans' spirit get crushed and this was an all-timer of a death blow. I'll give those hillbillies credit. The place was on fire and they were back in it. Then boom! The place imploded, there were tears and gnashing of teeth and the old man in front of me suddenly wanted to fight.

Mo Claiborne aka Mr. Wonderlic aka the Mountaineer Murderer.

I think TM& tip/int was my favorite play from that game, possibly the whole season.

Those WV little shite WRs had some spunk though. There was alot of trash talking leading up to that game if I remember correctly.

They sure did....they didn't shut up all game even though we were whipping their arse. All in all the WRs were pretty good players.

They backed it up for the most part. Besides, you gotta remember that the LSU defensive backs were trash talking and mocking the West Virginia receivers in pre game warmups.

I was there too. You're absolutely correct. I've never seen one play literally suck all the hope and energy out of an entire fanbase.

It was unreal.

The best part about being there was the LSU crowd yelling the tune to Seven Nation Army a cappella mocking the WVU fans who had been doing it about three minutes earlier.

I was surronded by mustard yellow and as I mentioned ealier behind a very angry 40 something who accused me of calling his wife a whore. Guys were bent over, hands on knees like they'd been punched in the gut.

The only thing that could have made it better is if Claiborne had walked his arse up to the press box and actually turned the lights off.

This is my favorite image from the entire game. My friend got it right before Mo scored on the kick return.

The funniest thing to me was how all the WVU fans around us looked at us when we were pissed that TM didn't score. It was like, "Seriously? He just tipped a freakin' pass to himself and returned it to the 1 yard line, and you're pissed!?!?"

We just laughed and told them, "If you had him, you'd understand."

All in all, some of the best fans, though. Every single one of them were as nice and welcoming as could be. And even after the game, they were every single one gracious and friendly. I know there were stories of a-hole 'Eer fans, but I never saw even a whiff of any of it. Hell, two of them even gave us a ride to the game after the bus fiasco, and sent us a Christmas card.

Good people. Great trip.

Went all the way up there, was so excited I drank too much and the 1st half was fuzzy.

Fun trip, good fans, they deserved the SEC, not Mizzou.

Money rules though.
