Tired of all the people in my office coming up to my cube this morning and giving me a hard time about our lady tigers and my coach.

I'll be the first to admit we didn't look up to par last night, but that was a darn good Colorado team. These girls need to know they cant just "show up" this year and expect everyone to back down. Almost looked like Kim was letting them play "their way," but i completely trust her process. Sometimes you have to let a kid fail their way in order to see it your way.

We were Colorados Super Bowl. It was just another game to us. We will be fine in March.

Fans suck. SHE WON IT ALL LAST YEAR. Let me repeat. SHE WON IT ALL LAST YEAR. Who care if she lost the first game. She’ll get it figured out.

I'm just going to say it.

Her best years are behind her. She's lost the fire. The game has passed her up. I think it's time to move on.

That's all sarcasm by the way.

I think its silly to doubt her. The team will get better eventually, but the team not being together all summer like last year put the chemistry really behind and you aren't making all that up in a month of practice.

The team, coaches etc embarrassed themselves badly yesterday but long term it may be what is needed. I think many needed a back to reality and come to Jesus moment.

Kim not calling timeout and letting the players just sink really looked like she was sending a message.

You learn more from a loss than a win.

I wouldn't say "embarrassed themselves badly"

It's women's basketball, CSI reruns likely had more viewers last night. At the end of the day there are maybe 4 teams in women's basketball that can win a national title and LSU is one of them. Women just don't have the talent pool as men. This team could play street ball all year and win 99% of their games.

Mulkey will have them winning a ton of games and will likely have them in the final 4 on talent alone.

Its the start of bball season. Im admittedly only a casual bball fan, but even I know slow/rough starts are normal in basketball.

Or better to say there is plenty of time for teams to get rolling.

If you had told me a couple of years ago that half the first page of the rant would be women's basketball threads, I would have assumed you were drunk or crazy.

If you told me that would happen in November, I would have assumed I was drunk or crazy.

Yes it's disappointing to lose with this much talent but that is just the problem. We have so much talent that it may take a few competitive games to see who plays better together on the floor. These big games and tourney's are always risky and anyone can lose.

My only thought about trying something different last night was putting Del Rosario at center to combat Colorado's big who just pushed us with her size. I would have also liked to see HVL focus on distributing the ball better to get the others going early so they can open things up for her later. M. Williams is a dog and I am making the bold claim that she may be the best player on the floor right now.

Sounds like something you need to say so you can pacify your feelings

I would not be able to hold back telling them what an idiotic position to take, that is.
