I was on board for it before this game, and the on-field coaching he did seemed to make a clear difference, and I think it would look better with more games.

Also, as mentioned previously, it eliminates Les being the middleman.

Could a new OC really change anymore than what has been changed at any point during the Les Miles tenure? I don't think there's an OC in existence that could provide the effect we all deeply have longed for...but MAYBE Cam can get us as close as possible if he takes the on-field control.

I think having the same OC for Brandon Harris going into year 3 could also prove really pivotal in a positive way. The relationship built between the two has to be better than any relationship a new OC could have.

Can't wait to see how the offseason goes. Hopefully Cam gets healthy and doesn't have to risk his health at all being on the field.

NO..

The single only reason to keep him is that we probably couldn't find anyone worth a shite that would want to take his place.

Im not a fan of CC and think he is the problem with the offense. But if Im Les Miles, Im keeping as many friends as possible around and looking behind every door before I enter.

Miles is still the head coach so I don't see why bringing a new oc will change anything.

What are the other options at this point in time?

Yes. I'd like to have some continuity for a starting qb for once. I don't want our junior qb to have to learn a new scheme and new terminology.

He had an all-time year at this program with Mett(Sr), OBJ(Jr), Landry(Jr), and Hill(So)
He had a shitty year with Jennings(So), Dural(So), Dupre(Fr), and Fournette(Fr)
He had a pretty good year with Harris(So), Dural(Jr), Dupre(So), Fournette(So), and Guice(Fr)

He had a really bad stretch of games in November, but so did the entire team, in every aspect of the game. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what he can do with this same returning core group of players with two years of development.

56 points last night is a major improvement.

You do realize TT would finish 13-14th in the SEC right? Don't get to excited.

Im not. LSU doesn't have many options, and changing faces has proven to have little to no effect on the offense up to this point. I also said in the OP that I was thinking this BEFORE the game. Just confirming.

Not that I'm getting too excited but we handled them easier than Oklahoma, Texas, OSU, Arkie (lol), etc.

BH gets better and our O will be better

Absolutely not.

I wouldn't let a game vs TT influence that decision moving forward.

I would much rather they explore all options.

Yeah, but it's one game vs an ideal match up where we could impose our will vs much inferior talent.. Also with much preparation.

You do realize a new Oc means starting over again from that preparation stand point. I say keep him. if it works out, great, if not, then Les will be gone and all the haters get what they want.

It looked like shite in the first half. Then Harris started completing passes and the offense was unstoppable.

I saw nothing different other than the ridiculous amount of play action deep passes that were incomplete.
