Because we had them beat last year at home
Horrible penalty at the end
We outplayed them and deserved/should have won that one.

We have a lot to play for the next 3 weeks

Coaches/players/fans now see what it's going to take to field a front 7 like Alabama's to win SEC Championships and National Championships.

We have Coach O to do the job!!! I love that we have him because we know our Dline has slowly faded to what it once was...

Alabama is #1 right now, we played them every year, it's just a reality of the SEC West. Would any team in America be favored over them on a neutral site? how about at their place? Ok then...keep your heads up

Everyone inside the program needs to man up. Take it as a challenge, see how you need to grow and improve.

Let's help LF win the Heisman and finish 10-1...see what happens in terms of post season play

Sign the #1 recruiting Class

We're going to be awesome next season, we know this...so let's look ahead at the bright future of LSU football.

yeah...no reason to let this one linger.

LSU still has a great chance to have an amazing season. And this loss may spark something.

I just need to avoid the SECr until we beat them. If we ever beat them. We may be living in the Matrix by the time that happens.

It's just a game. But I am so goddamn fricking sick of losing to that team.

I'll say this: beating Ole Miss + A&M would make it much more bearable. I know they hate losing to us as much as we hate losing to Alabama. I will shamelessly take pleasure in their pain.

This man. I'm no positiger or whatever, but I'm also not a little girl. This was one game. We lost. We win out and Fournette goes for 150 each game, hey, he could have a shot at the trophy. If not, oh well.

I was actually over this loss by the end of the 3rd quarter. When you are watching your team get manhandled by a superior opponent, it makes the hope factor disappear so you can move onto reality & acceptance. Last year's loss was MUCH worse on the psyche. Also, I find hope in realizing we won't play another team with as talented a D-line as we did Saturday night so the future is still very promising. I also believe a loss like this is easier for the team to get over than a loss like last year. Hopefully the humiliation pisses these boys off & they play the rest of the season with something to prove.

last year, after the loss, I wanted to take the life of a human being with my bare hands. This year, after the loss, I just wanted to go home and bang my girlfriend. It sucked but when no passion is shown on the field it's hard for me to get riled up when we lose.

Our DC is a linebackers coach and had to play a 4-3 with two serviceable LB's. They even started Thompson over Jefferson to help with the run. We don't have enough talent on D or even depth at OL to compete with Bama. Maybe a mulligan could be different, who knows? But we were outmatched purely on player talent/depth alone. You can't just say some other coach would have thrown 100 screen passes (right at their LB's btw) or called 30 flea flickers and won the game.

Sadly we've become immune from the feeling of losing to Bama for 4 years now I'm over it as well and was Saturday night. Frustrating though for sure.

Can't let them beat us twice. We are better than the next three teams on the schedule and there is still a lot on the table left for LSU. Going out and beating Arkansas, no matter how close, will bring the good vibes to this season back. The coaches and team leaders need to step up and prepare hard this weekend, and the fans need to make it hell on the Hogs on Saturday night.

Personally I'd much rather get beat the way we did last year than to be completely dominated. That at least gives me hope that we can compete at their level. The one thing from this game that we can build on is this:

Coaches/players/fans now see what it's going to take to field a front 7 like Alabama's to win SEC Championships and National Championships.

They've seen the gold standard and now they know where they need to be.

I accepted this loss in the 3rd quarter. Much like 1/9. The worst one for me is still 2012. Redemption after the BCS game. They said we couldn't move the ball and we did. We got Miles'd with his untimely, dumbass fake fg and the Warecat. He got too cute and coached himself out of that win. Last yr sucked balls too.
