The NRG stadium tailgating policy is pretty close to BBVA Compass Stadium (where the Dynamo play) policy.
If you're going to have chairs or a table or a tent/shade, you need to buy two parking spots.
(Superdome doesn't allow tailgating on their parking lots)
NOTE: There are peripheral lots other than the NRG-run ones, but you'll probably have to pay for an extra spot for your stuff in those too.
RE:Fire Extinguisher - Haven't you seen the Allstate ads? ;-)

We're going to have our rig out there from 8 am on and always welcome opposing fans.
Look for us, we'll be the ones in purple and gold with a tent, food, and music.....

Are you going to be in an NRG Stadium lot? If so, were you granted special permission to set up earlier than normal people?

Unless you received some special permission/badge, then, no, you won't be out there at 8.

It sounds like I'll need to make a trip to Baton Rouge in the near future for the true LSU tailgating experience. Preferably late in the fall because it's too damn hot right now. Prepare to see a lot of pale, sweaty Badger fans this weekend.

Just wanted to thank the LSU fans for showing class with the W. Many walked up to my group after the game to shake our hands and thank us for a good game. Best of luck to LSU for the rest of the season. You'll have a few new Badger fans pulling for you after this weekend.
