I was at the HOUSTON game and I dont remember a mass exodis like that. I have a friend that payed or will pay half a tigervision he left after Troys last score. THAT WAS TIGERVISION , he was 5 min from his house. Hell Ill rag the hell out him for that. If the tigers should put one point accross over the years , NEVER quit on them

I never said that people didn't have the "right" to leave early, for whatever reason. What I said was those who did cannot call themselves LSU fans. A fan, or supporter, is someone who sticks it out with their team, friend, family member, etc. till the end; no matter what.

Newsflash: For those of you who stayed, ummm, this doesn't apply to you.

Breaking News: Fair-weathered fans DO affect LSU, it's program, the players and potential recruits, and that is irrefutable.

All the good recruits say:

"Man, look at all these LSU fans leaving." when I play here and kick arse, I'll give them more bang for their buck!"

You people should be ashamed of yourselves! I have never in my life been so embarrassed to be an LSU fan. I know no one will have the balls to admit to it but when more than two thirds of the stadium leaves, for whatever reason, you are no fan or supporter of LSU, YOU are a bandwagoner and do not deserve the seats you're sitting in. I'm embarrassed for LSU, I'm embarrassed for our players, I'm embarrassed for our coaching staff and I'm embarrassed for our potential recruits. You people, you know who you are, make me sick.

Good Lord, shut the hell up. Do you get this mad when people leave church early?? Get a life.

Call them what you want but it's called "FREEDOM". So you don't agree with it. Good for you.

was painfully pointed out on national television.

wow, I must have missed this nationally televised game since I was in our bordering country of Virginia.

Yes, National television, when the ESPN gang blasted LSU fans on sportscenter after the game. Dont have an exact quote but something along the lines of what has happened to LSU fans.

Why, yes, I am. And I do have to apologize for that comment, Russell has proven me wrong.

Perhaps the LSU fans woke up the Tigers by leaving the game early. Did anybody think of that possibility?

You are reaching now....
I think the coaches saw PANIC.
..and jobs going out of the window.
there would have been NO EXPLANATION or EXCUSE good enough for a 31-3 loss to TROY.
NONE...and they knew it.
They are human.

Don't tell me an "Oh Shite" yell was not heard in each one of the coaches' head.
IMO
It is the PANIC that forced them to go to a different plan.
They surely did not adjust much at halftime.

"Necessity is the mother of invention"
NEED and URGENCY showed up at the same time....
end of the 3rd QTR.

having bandwagon fans is a symptom of being a great team. I'm fine with them.

if you want no bandwagon fans we should cut out the recruiting budget and make it a point to suck again.

FWIW.. I left early. I was in my seat when Lee threw the pick and I was in my truck on my way home by the time Troy returned it for a TD. (I was the fastest man in purple and gold @ Tiger Stadium last night) I did not abandon the team but the coaches. I do not blame Lee for any interceptions thrown after the first 2 against Bama. At some point someone needs to bring in the hook. He just wants to play. I don't wish I was there when the clock wound down, I'd had enough.

You can tell who the unfaithful are by their response. You people should know that the rest of the country now knows that LSU fans bolt on their players, it was painfully pointed out on national television.

And I am supposed to care, why? Because a USC, Ohio St., Florida, Texas fan knows that we have better things to do than sit and watch a team perform pathetically for 85% of a game? Your right, this is a damn tragedy.

I wouldn't necessarily call someone who leaves a game early a "bandwagon" fan. To me, a "bandwagon" fan is someone who pulls for a team ONLY when they're winning. Last night was kind of like watching a dog that's about to get hit by a car. You look away because you don't want to see the dog get killed. However, last night, by some miracle, the dog got out of the way before going under the wheels.

Do the players know you were not abandoning them but rather the coaches?
