Could you imagine trying to defend LSU with 2 receivers split (any combo), Williams at fullback along with Guice and Fournette at tailback (wishbone)...

How do you defend this?

Load the box. Man coverage outside with safety help.

Might just be me but I would try to tackle whoever has the ball.

Pretty much. Teams are gonna put 7 or 8 in the box no matter what formation we're lined up in, until we prove that we're willing to be aggressive in the passing game.

Rohan thinks he has the answer.

If Brandon is more accurate we will be fine. If not - we may have a trouble or two.

Maybe the worse offensive idea on the board this year?

We ain't 1995 Nebraska. LSU would need an option QB etc..

Reminds me of LSU vs. A&M in 2014 when Anthony Jennings straight abused the Aggies with the read option.

I wish we would let Harris run more read option plays. Even when he wasn't throwing the ball well last year, he would still make plays with his feet.

But you have 2 threats coming out of the backfield that can stretch the defense. Plus, your receivers are all over 6'3 with wheels so accuracy is less important. Lastly, name one linebacker or strong safety that can stay with Guice or Fournette on a route in space.

Its a waste of time for any poster to suggest formations in here. Try to invent a new baseball play instead.

The entire formation is a little kookie, but why in the he'll would you line up your short yardage RB to get the shite beat out of him consistently as a fullback when we have a couple solid fullbacks? RB's are made and trained to run and carry the football. FB's are specific to blocking for RBs...

Rush 5. Hi/low coverage on the receivers, man coverage on the backs. When Brandon Harris starts making tight throws while he can smell the linebackers breath, this formation might work every now and then. If the backs aren't being motioned out wide, then there are quite a few safeties and linebackers in the league that can cover them out of the backfield.

If it were this easy, everybody would do it. There are a lot of athletic tailbacks and receivers in this league.

It could have success outside a few plays per game, maybe sneak a pass to RB, but you'd likely run into the dreaded predictable personnel prob.
You're pretty much having players step out of what they do best with ball carriers taking the place of blockers and pass catchers(TE specialty).

Double the receivers and the other 7 on a run blitz. Only 5 linemen to block 7 run stoppers. I choose defense, even with LF in the backfield.
