If God himself allows Bama to lose not even he can make it a blowout.
So if its a last second field goal Bama will demand a replay.
If its controversial Bama will claim the NC merely because they are better and ND was lucky.

Ugly, mistake-filled game for both teams, low score, controversial calls, Bama behind by two scores and ND has a long ugly 7 minute drive to run the clock to end the game.
In other words, something almost as ugly as the egg we laid last year.
Unfortunately, Bama is good, and will click and will absolutely smoke ND. 21+ point margin of victory, Tide rolls.

I understand why you feel this way. Hell, I wouldn't have liked it either but honestly who do you think deserved to play for the title more......a team that got beat in overtime to the #1 team in the country or a team that got beat by Iowa State?
It sucked for y'all to have to play a team you already beat. I get that but the two best teams played for the title which is the way it's supposed to be.

I can certainly see this, but just as easily see it going the other way.
Bama played 3 good teams and went 2-1. They could've just as easily gone 0-3.
ND played a reasonably equal schedule. With some lucky bounces as well.
But bama is not head and shoulders above Notre Dame.
and.. Blowout is the correct answer...
