Circa the only “sharp” book I know that offers college baseball is -140/+120

What does this have to do with making a third start in 8 days?

I would be very disappointed but could completely understand what is at stake for him but it would hurt knowing what’s at stake for LSU. Just would then have to hope Thatcher and Griffin can create some magic

I’d feel the exact same way. He had hundreds of millions of dollars riding on his right arm.

If he feels capable , he will pitch

He will demand the ball. He is (fricking) Skenes.

He will GEAUX as long as he can, but most importantly I want him to be honest with Coach. If he’s not feeling right, he needs to tell Jay to remove him.

Edit: my dream is to be up 8-0 in the 7th. Skenes delivering 5-7 of those innings. Let our other dudes to close it out.

But doesn’t someone also need to hit the damn ball either way? The hitting display on Sunday was atrocious.

I would feel the same way I feel tonight-

Proud that this team accomplished everything it did. That we got to see the top 2 players in the game, as well as a payoff for some of the guys who stuck it out here. Winning a title would be awesome, playing for one isn't something to turn your nose up at.
We faced Wake Forest on our side of the CWS, and Florida didn't. We took Wake out, but that was a huge effort and cost us a loss, which knocked us off schedule. If we had went Skenes-Floyd in the finals, we'd be 2-0 and champs right now, I have no doubt.

But that's part of the game. You save Skenes, and it's pretty damn certain Wake isn't scoreless after 9 innings Thursday, and we are not still playing. You shoot your bullets when you need to.

We are playing in the last game of the year, so we had a great season.

He never abandoned his teammates and fellow Cadets at Air Force Academy.

I don’t see him doing it at LSU.

He hasn't abandoned his teammates here either and wouldn't be if he doesn't pitch.

I’d blame Jay for giving up 24 in a game and putting terrible batters out there

think Vegas expects Skenes to pitch. LSU is around -150 on the moneyline at pretty much every book.

Serious question, have you paid attention to college lines all year?

I don't expect Skenes to pitch today outside of an inning or two. And thats if he pitches. Should only use him if were tied or up. I would use him for the last 6-9 outs to close out the game but if were losing then I wouldn't burn him. Dude does have a future in the MLB don't need to risk anything.

This will certainly be the most common way for us to win. They could also walk a shite load of our guys or have a lot of errors.

Regardless of what happens, LSU is playing in the final college baseball game of the year. You can’t ask for more than that.

Proud of this team. Love these players.
