I think OU is a bad deal for LSU honestly

We will get pushed into a SEC West SWC rebirth division, and play east teams once every 100 years
It'd certainly be something the conference would have to discuss. I honestly don't think it'll happen, but it makes for fun t-rant discussion. lol

Which show were you listening to. Dusty Dvoracek keeps saying they're not a good fit but would be better than half of our conference

Texas would never join the SEC due to the equal profit shares the conference enjoys. They're too greedy. I also doubt aTm would vote them in.

All of this^

I wouldn't mind Texas if they could get over themselves. However, I do not think OU would come if Texas came. OU wants to get as far away from them as possible when it comes to conference realignment

All of this Add

Texas I want to say competes in more sports, and thumbs it nose at the academics side. They would want Big ten or pac 12 I think if there was realignment.

I think if OU didn't have little brother issues they would be here

Add Houston

After we snag Herman. If Houston were able to get in a P5 conference then they would pony up the cash to keep Herman. If I recall correctly, UH already stated that there is a $5 million bonus to Herman if they were to get into the Big XIII would imagine that would apply to any P5 confrence

no... Oklahoma isn't southern, low population therefore little revenue to be made... bring on UNC, Duke, Virgina or Va Tech...

Just read something that basically SEC has to court OU if they become in play or Big 10 picks up too many tvs and exposure in Texas

OH GOD NO!!!!

Then STOOPS would cry on TV every single game. The crying he does when he gets beat by a POWER TEAM. The SEC would destroy him on a regular basis.

HE WOULD CRY EVERY GAME

Well I live in Norman, and everyone I know, no hyperbole, is ready to go to the SEC.

Oklahoma is not southern. They are a plains state. Culturally they are not a fit for the SEC at all.

Just curious. What does Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Missouri and Kentucky claim as "Culture" and how is it so different from Oklahoma.

SWC rebirth? The only two teams from the old SWC in that scenario are already in our division now.
