When LSU played a good D, they didn't have answers.

JJ played against Ole Miss, and then W kentucky (which he also struggled mightily the first half). He ended up having decent numbers against a poor arkansas defense, but struggled mightily the first half. He obviously struggled against Georgia the entire game, and against Bama. LSU had a good offense until JJ was re-inserted as the starter...it was no surprise to most of us what happened to the offense after that...we saw it for 4 years. Still amazes me that Miles couldn't see it. I think that he did, but I also think he thought his defense was good enough to win in spite of JJ...and he liked that big 10 running attack from jj. Hopefully, he learned from this, as he usually seems to learn from his mistakes.

As for stepping up this year. I expect the offense to be significantly improved.....and there are always playmakers at LSU to get things fired up. I don't know this yet, but I would expect rivers to also be an upgrade from JJ....

Nope, Louisiana. We are multiple on offense. Just a good broad knowledge of what is needed to beat defenses

Kidnap Chavis a couple of weeks ahead of time,

Run the Notre Dame Box- no QB

And pray that they can't figure out how to defend it without Chavis....
