The few that I was sitting around were classy.
They were extremely quiet and shocked throughout the second half.

After the game, I shook their hands and they were saying we had a damn strong team and wishing the best, although I can't say they would've acted the same if LSU had won.

The coaching staff were more classless than the fans...

They were taunting the fans on the East side line and after Yeldon scored, were doing the throat slash

Overall, I thought the Bama fans were great.

If recent history holds true, Bama winning last night paves the way for an Obama win

Most seemed alright. I had one sitting directly in front of me who was a total douche. Dead silent when they were losing, "that guy" when they were ahead.

The taunting from players to fans in the stands will inevitably result in a European style soccer brawl one day soon. Chump arse gangstas screaming shite like "suck my dick bitch" at fans is going to cause irate fans to come out of the stands and go after the players. There aren't enough cops ro arop ir.

Our tailgate had some invited Bammers and they were a real fun group. I stood and spoke with a Black guy and his two kids while I finished my beer before the game and they were cool and gracious.

But, in the first half when Bama was getting the upperhand and I was still pretty buzzed I had a twenty-something bammer a couple rows up standing in the aisle over my shoulder yelling like he was in BDS when LSU had the ball. I sit in an area where there is no excuse for an opposing team's fan to be sitting.

Very quickly, before I'd had enough of it I got up, got in his face and told him, "When I've had enough of your crap, I'm just gonna knock you out!"

He disappeared pretty quickly and I never saw him again.

I know....:CSB:

The rammer jammer taunt originated during hte Civil War.

The rest of the Confederacy taunted bama troop as the were retreating by saying:

whisper, whisper yellow hammer,
run away Alabama

The other Confedearte troops were going into battle to take up positions th yellow hammer troops were retreating from.

And, now, you know the rest of the story.

Being as how I was treated during the (second half of the) game, I had full rights to be obnoxious. However, I remained calm and the only dick move I made was simply giving out hugs to the female LSU fans at the party who were giving me shite. I thought about teabagging one, but refrained.

Nice try... the cheer is a copy of some Ole Miss cheers. Rammer Jammer was the original student newspaper. The cheer was simply put together with familiar lyrics and cadence of other cheers of the time.

Over the last 7 elections, an Alabama win vs. LSU has come in a year when a Democrat was elected President, an LSU win has meant a Republican win.
