How unique was . . .
There's no scale for uniqueness. You can't measure it. It's binary.

Something either is unique, or it is not unique.

For the record, I wish this thread's misuse of the word "unique" was unique.

Yeah...top 10 in the country. But way to give a snapshot and try to make it seem less impressive.

My gripe is, that should be the norm, not a unique season. Also, the highest ranked in any of those categories you mentioned is 4th in the SEC. That's hardly unique or elite. The defense ranked top 4 in almost every category in the SEC and they got bashed the whole season.

What makes the 2013 offense unique to LSU and what makes the 2013 defense hot garbage is the ability to hold onto the ball and keep the other team off the field. On offense, we were the #1 team in the country on third down and 4th in the conference in giveaways. On defense, we were 9th in the conference on third down and 8th in takeaways.

What was the last college team to have a starting QB, RB, and two WRs start the following year in the NFL?

USC,UF,UA & Texas have all had this happen.

Isn't that uncommon.

Offense ranked in the middle of the pack in the SEC. Not that unique.

For a Les Miles team it is!

2013 O-Line was much better at pass-blocking than run-blocking, save Vadal Alexander who probably gave up every sack that year...

Funniest thing about the '13 Offense was that we wouldn't put 3 wide receivers on the field until 3rd down, then we'd convert each and every one even if it was over 10 yards to-go, and you'd think, how bout doing that on 1st or 2nd? Might work on those downs too.

Remember Miles pulling J Hill for Hilliard in the red zone
