How many times Jordan Mickey did the damage?

What's hilarious to me is that article says LSU was up 12 at halftime.
The announcers continued to say LSU was up 16 at halftime.
When the truth is LSU was up 14 at halftime.
I know it's meaningless now, but at least do your job right.
I was saying that all 2nd half long. Its Not that hard to pay attention

Doesn't mean anything if LSU shoots well below their average and has a guy start 3/4 and then finish 0/6.

so is it fatigue? if so, why not call some time outs? why go home with 3 of them in your back pocket?

for starters, it's not fatigue. it's mental.
You can't be too tired to shoot an uncontested free throw. It's just not possible. I don't care what anyone says. Fatigue is a pussies excuse for missing free throws.
and we have been saving free throws for some time now.
We still had two from the Auburn game, and 4 from the Arkansas game.
That is just stupid considering how terrible we close games out and our lack of depth.

Assuming you're talking about timeouts!

He's better than this.

I can't get over that last layup he missed... wide open and it makes it a 3 point game with not much time left.

his last miss was just as bad as his building a house at the free throw line. I wont shed a tear if he goes pro.

that's sort of what The Missing Link did on the game-winning shot. Took two steps left and three right and then shot. i hadn't rewatched that shot until just now in that article. we deserved to lose so i don't really care. but that was text book traveling.

From what I've seen last night and throughout most of the season, they damn near play every minute of the game(s). Most of the starters log in 30+ minutes. There is a rotation of 1-2 players and they barely get minutes. This game is also about attrition. They got tired towards the end plain and simple. It's pretty hard to be at the free throw line when you are gassed out.

utter nonsense. I played high school ball in a great district. Point guard who played every second. We pressed, and got pressed, the entire game. I was exhausted at the end, but NEVER had a problem shooting free throws late in the game. You just stand there, concentrate on mechanics, and stroke it.
I'm just getting so tired of the "fatigue" excuse. These are kids with young legs who only play 30 games a year, two per week. It's not the NBA grind of 82 games, 3 or 4 per week.

lol. flawless logic. just because you never had a problem with fatigue and free throws.. I guess everyone else should not have that problem too- that's"utter nonsense." every athlete is different. every competition is different. every environment/atmosphere is different. please impress us more with more high school stories.

I wasn't trying impress anyone. Besides, my high school days were 30 years ago. My point, if you would care to try to understand, is that young guys can shoot a fricking free throw late in the game, and "fatigue" is a really weak excuse. That's it.

Love the Tigers.
BUT fatigue is BS excuse for this type of FT shooting.
