I think it was the forearm/elbow to the head after they were down that cinched it for the ref.

Come on, don't be a homer. Collins continued for several seconds after the whistle. That was a good call

Complaining about the refs is comical since we got the benefit of the no-offsides call at the end.

I'm not ignoring that, but it was a close call.

It always seems like we only get "evened out" officiating, or, worse, biased the other way. Now, don't get me wrong, I want to win, straight up, with competent, unbiased officiating, but we get that so seldom, it is both shocking and a conversation topic.

We always seem to be talking about bad calls breaking both ways and evening out, or, like with Bama, always going in their favor.

It is supposed to all come out in the wash. But it doesn't.

GEEZ... LSU fans will try to complain about anything............
This is the Tiger "Rant", bro. Not meaning to sound like I'm complaining.. Was just really drunk, so I'm trying to collect the missing pieces. I just remember Collins slamming the dude and then a flag being thrown. I apparently missed or just don't remember what happened after they went to ground.

It was easily after the play. Take off your purple and gold sunglasses.

So the refs caused LSU to lose on 1-9-12?????

OK......

So if the refs had been fair, LSU beats Bama everytime they play?????

No. And that didn't influence the 2013 game too much either, but all their other wins under Saban against LSU have been tainted by fairly obvious slanted officiating. You don't really deny that after the Peterson interception, "Bama never holds", the "touchback" this year, the call of only the retaliation this year, etc., etc., etc.

They do whatever they can to keep it close and then do whatever they can to get Bama the win. I was as shocked as anyone in 2011 when we got a reasonably fairly called game in T-Town. Not sure what was going on there, but it was an anomaly, I can assure you.

I get so tired of this...is it the SEC refs or Les...make up your minds. La'el was frustrated as anyone would be after Garrett got the sack. Clearly should have been called. Hell, LSU won...end of story. SEC refs are not that good...end of story.
La'el took care of him along with Gordon the rest of the game. Good lord this ref deal needs to end. This makes LSU fans look like idiots. I complain as well about obvious crap calls, this wasn't one.

The refs didn't have a factor In this years game... LSU and Miles screwed them selves out of a victory... And in 2012 If Copeland doesn't go total stupid after Hills run. LSU would have won....

Both teams got bad calls. Seems like the quality of SEC officiating is below average.

I really don't like incorrect calls affecting outcome of games. Seems like that a conference like the SEC could afford quality men or women who are top quality at their profession.

Are you people so delusional that you think the refs were biased towards A&M? Are you kidding me? LSU was the better team by far yesterday, but got bailed out by the refs Bama style yesterday.

First off LSU got hosed on the uncalled defensive holding in the first quarter, but after that people can't bitch about any other call.

On the TD at the end of the first half you had a clear pick play called and then picked up and an uncalled false start on the very same play.

The PI on Collins was ticky tack but legit. He pushed the WR and extended both arms. Easy call.

Then the atrocious blown offsides and Ricky tack targeting that should've been overturned resulted in a player ejection.

LSU had the refs clearly on their side yesterday so to hear LSU fans bitching about any calls yesterday is just pathetic.

Better team won, but not without some help to get out of their way.

I also thought the La'el call was BS - play to the whistle - he tripped at the end over a player on the ground - that's why they went to the ground.
BS. He would have driven him underground if possible. Stupid no discipline shite that can cost you big time.
They should be coached to control emotions.

I agree. Both teams were affected by bad officiating. This is nothing new in this conference.

A&M targeting call was wrong.
LSU should have been called offsides on last Aggie possession.

Jennings fumble redo play was confusing.

PI call on LSU in 3rd Qtr was bad call.

Bad calls all around. Unacceptable.

Unfortunately for anyone that isn't biased it was a legit all be it somewhat ticky tack call. He pushed the WR and it was clear as day.
