The problem is when i post facts about Saban's tenure,you see it as me shitting on Saban. Yet when i post facts about Miles you see it as defending. The truth is im posting things that are true.

When i say saban had 1 top 5 finish! Thats a fact.
When i say saban won a sec title with 3 losses. Thats a fact.

Just like when i say Miles won a NC with 2 losses


The real problem between us is you dont like some facts that i post.
If i did nothing but post things that shite on miles, you would have zero problem with me. How do i know this?

When i post facts about miles and saban im not cherry picking anything. I know saban walked into a far worse situation which is why i have repeatedly said miles couldnt have brought lsu back like saban.

That doesnt mean i cant post facts about sabans tenure.

And I know you like to use pctgs to make your point but if you're using that line of argument then Saban has the highest pct of both sec and national titles. He also has the highest win pct vs top 5 teams. My point is there's nothing wrong with respecting Miles and appreciating what he did here you have an obsession with putting him ahead of everyone els though. Why not just say he's your favorite and give your reasons why? I'd bet you'd recieve a much more favorable response. Jamming your beliefs down ops throat is never a good idea.

We can't say this is obvious. Joe Alleva was running the search and FKing seems to not care much about football success so we have no idea. Most of us think Alleva didn't even do a full search and settled on O out of cost/convenience/popular demand. And frankly, is hard to say who the "top coaches" even are. Urban, Saban, Harbaugh obviously but they aren't coming. No one else approaches those yet that's what we LSU fans understandably want. So that leaves a bunch of lesser names besides Jimbo who probably was never coming. And Texas can outbid ANY school if it decides to, so can't hold that against LSU.

I bet guys like Fedora and Fleck would've jumped at the LSU job, and that's the best coaches available.

For some reason its completely fine to give opinions on how shitty miles was and how underwhelming his tenure was but when someone posts facts that paint miles in a positive light, you and a few others have a problem with it.

Hey I have said plenty of great things about Miles in his tenure. You decide to ignore them. You only chime in when I or anyone else says something negative about Miles that doesn't even have to do with winning%. Time management, the teams passion to play after a tough loss, his handling of RP in 2008 when he gave him way too many chances, his non ability to make any adjustments before the NC game against Bama, his teams historically playing down to the competition, his blatant interference in offensive play calling basically wasting promising talent.... those are just s few examples of what a lot of people think that have ZERO to do with stats.....

That's not what I said... playing down to the competition is about barely getting by teams LSU should beat handily. His teams were notorious for doing this. But keep making excuses for him.
