It's bottoming out right now look at 3 of the last 4 games. The lack of hitting and a terrible pitching staff. 9 walks per game? That's pretty bad

Quite a bit. Make sure it's enough so he can wrap it around all of your miserable little necks.

Might be stuck with him for awhile with that contact but he needs his hand forced to make staff changes.

It's not all on the coach......this team is just a little above mediocre......nothing can probably fix that.....

And whose fault is it that they are mediocre? He recruited and signed everyone of them.

If that's the argument you're using, then at least some of this has to be shouldered by the players... This is largely the same team that was a top 8 national seed last year.

Program has become stagnant. Time for a change. Team plays with no spark and are a reflection of their hum-drum coach. When Andy Canazzaro left the fire and spark went with him. This team is just playing out the string. Most of them look like they just want this over with and are ready for the draft, summer ball or whatever. Losing all of these mid-week games to inferior in-state schools is completely unacceptable. And for those of you out there who say that all CPM is doing is coasting to get into the postseason better wake up. There is a strong possibility that we finish sub 500 in the remainder of the SEC games. That won't even get you a Regional much less a shot at a Super. This is starting to look like the Smoke years to me.

Smoke was only HC for 4 years and won the SEC, and made CWS......2009 was a longgggggf time ago for CPM to still be riding that wave. If held to Smokes standards he should be gone as soon as next year without some hardware

And once any remnant of Skip left, he was losing regionals and not even making the postseason, then Paul takes over and has the team back in Omaha in 2 years.

This is a hugely disappointing season but don't put this on Smoke level.

Hey look everybody, a pathetic new "Pump Lump" has freshly ascended from the dark depths and emerged ready to worship, idolize and defend.
