How much of this anger and frustration is due to the media hype?

Getting this hard reality check these past two weeks has been about as painful as being a fan can be. I for one bought all the way into the hype surrounding this team through October. Number two in the nation ranking. Clear cut Heisman frontrunner. Four year cycle. On and on.

But when you get down to it, this was a .500 team in the conference last year. If we can regroup and get these last two wins, you're looking at 6-2 in conference play (and I think we will beat Ole Miss, tbh). That is seeing things moving in the right direction.

That is a successful season, and if you see this team improving even more next season (no reason not to expect they won't), you're talking about a legitimate shot at a title.

I expect to beat Arkansas at home at night in Tiger stadium. Not get trampled by them.

Do you not watch the games or do you have a high pain threshold?
The first seven games were played against teams we should normally beat except Florida and all but Miss State were playing second team or with student body quarterbacks.
Lucky Les may yet escape.

The issue isn't losing to Bama @ Bama, although you hate to get dominated in all three phases of the game.

The issue IS coming back home to play a mediocre Arkansas team in TS at night and ensue to get dominated in all three phases of the game.

LSU is going nowhere under Les Miles. 3-4 SEC losses per year, depending on who's up or down, likely Bowl loss (4 of last 5), end up 10-3 in a good year, but more than likely 9-4 average with an 8-5 bad year.

To some, that sounds delicious. God knows LSU could start going 0-12 without Les.

Jesus Samuel Christ.

No one is saying that. What we are saying, despite ANY of you acknowledging it, is that despite all the vitriol, all the stories, all the expectations of LSU being great because it's LSU, not one coach ever in the history of LSU has had a higher winning percentage than Les Miles. So even though many of you think we win despite Les, the facts simply don't back you up.
