position in the Spring?

Who can we trust to make the tough catches consistently?

Sadly you can't count on anyone yet because Dural is the most experienced and he barely saw any action. I'd put Quinn as a potential 3-4 guy until he catches up to the college game.

If we had good QB play and a more open offense he could make some noise, but that simply will not be the case this year.

I'd imagine his impact will be similar to OBJ's impact in 2011. Not necessarily our go-to guy, but will make a few big plays and have a nice impact.

From the video we see both sides are off a little. He could come in and give some push to the older wrs who knows

Sadly, I think we saw our 2014 offense on Jan 1, 2014. Run, run, and run some more. Maybe Quinn is an excellent stalk blocker.

Why exactly is this sad? We're gonna have a motherfricking beast offensive line.

I think the young guys arrival has the incumbents working that much harder. I also think he is versatile enough that he can fit in anywhere, be a deep threat, work the slot, jet sweeps, help with punt and kick returns if needed, he is a very team oriented guy and will focus on how he can make our offense better!

I suspect until Durpe and Quinn (and others) make a push it will be Dural and Diarse as the top WRs. I was thinking Avery was going to challenge, but he keeps getting hurt.

Nah, we all heard Cam say he is reverting back to a 1950's pass game due to the existing receivers' drops, so Quinn is an auto 1-2 upon arrival.

I'd be more concerned about new QBs instead of WRs, then again I'm more concerned about the baseball starting pitching challenge than anything football related at this time.

Because inferior teams like Iowa will play to within 7 points of us, where one fluke turnover or bad call can change the outcome of the game. Sooner or later, teams will stack 9 defenders in the box, yet we will try to ram it right at them and "out-tough" them anyway. It makes for long stretches of time where our offense does nothing, and we have to pray for dear life that our defense can save us.

I hope you're right. I don't have a problem with a run-first philosophy. I have a problem with the run at all cost and hide your quarterback philosophy.

He probably won't run one the entire time he's at LSU. He's a good athelete, but not that type.

You're trying to glean WAYYYY too much from the bowl game. We were attempting to essentially run a totally different offense than we had run all year due to Mett's injury, and Jennings was clearly a little uncomfortable, it being his first career start and all. And we still won. Against a good defense.

We will absolutely be run-first and moreso than last year, because that's where our strengths lie. We have a brilliant offensive mind at the helm and he will use our personnel to their respective strengths.

i don't think so. we are gonna throw the ball, but a sophomore QB vs a freshmen QB is a big difference.

Except it's not. His name is spelled "Dupre".
