Saban looks old and worn out

Anyone watching his presser after the Auburn game when he was throwing his FG kicker under the bus would have to agree with this.

I look for Alabama to drop off next year. They have been great and lucky, but losing their QB is going to be a big blow. I'm not saying they will be bad, but two defeats will seem like four to Alabama. Saban created a monster that he will not be able to feed with NC any more. That's one of the reasons why I felt he might bolt to Texas.

The retards here throw BS at Les all the time, but I wouldn't be surprised if Texas gave his agent a call.

How do you say he's the best we've had at LSU? We hadn't won a national championship since 1958, then, magically, Saban comes and we win one (really 2). Alabama hadn't won a national championship since 1992. Then, magically, Saban goes there and they win three--three. Are you seriously saying that Miles is a better coach than Nick Saban? And I love your definition of "loyalty." Yes, if loyalty is holding the program hostage three times (when, in reality, he wasn't ever thinking of going anywhere), then you are right.

You do realize that if Saban wasn't around, Miles would be the best.

Miles has survived so much at LSU. He is Teflon. Rarely do you see him in a huff. I don't see him going any higher without some training. His speech is terrible and not near a level of AD. How in the world he got to this level is shocking. His communication skills are nil. If his ego weren't so large, he would never use a mike. Probably...there isn't a soul who tells him how pitiful his interviews are. He should go back to being an assistant in the NFL.

If you honestly think that, you've taken rantard to a new level.

My guess is that he got to this level based on what he did as a coach and not for his ability to communicate with the media. I know, it sounds crazy.

Its possible Jerry Jones will court Miles for the Dallas job next time it comes open. He stated publicly he liked Miles and thinks he would be a great NFL coach.

I'm still surprised that Saban hasn't had a heart attack or stroke on the sideline when he has his rampages. The guy's blood pressure is probably outrageous.

3-5 years sounds about right. Enjoy them, but he will do at least one thing every year to drive us crazy

I think he's 43 wins behind Cholly Mac right now. So I think 5 years easily gets him past Mac. Maybe 4 if he does really good.

How old is his youngest child? He strikes me as the guy who would love to stay in one place until that child finishes high school then will consider stepping down and going wherever.

I say he gets to 20 years to become the longest tenured LSU head coach. IRT to Saban, I can see him having a breakdown because of the perfection that is now demanded by the Gumps. I don't see how he can maintain for the long haul what he's built. We'll see...

It's not talked about, yet random internet guy knows about it. Sounds logical.

Saban looks old and worn out. Miles looks like he's still enjoying it. I think Saban is still coaching because he doesn't know anything else to do. He'll probably die on the job or shortly after he retires. I can see Miles coaching 5 more years at least, and then walking away to enjoy his retirement.
exactly. see my earlier post. Saban doesn't enjoy anything and he'll be afraid of retirement and will quite possibly live long after he retires.
