I graduated in 2016. I believe they were $12 per ticket but students will mark up and sell their tickets for big games. I remember students easily selling their tickets for $200+ for Bama in 2012.

that doesn't sound accurate. I started fall 1987 and full time tuition per semester was $600+. It more than doubled before I graduated.

When I was there 2010-2013, $12 each. For weak games, maybe just a markup at a few bucks to offload them. For SEC games, minimum of $50 to sell. I went to the real big ones, but I remember the Alabama ones going for $100.

No student ID she goes to southeastern.

You'll need to find a student ID for her or that ticket will be useless anyway. Also better hope they don't notice/care that she's using someone else's ID or you'll be leaving her behind at the gate.

ETA: doubt you'll find anyone selling a student ticket + letting you use their ID, so hopefully you have a plan for that.

You need a student ID to use a student ticket, so you might be SOL from the get go.

Eta: Beat me to it.

Oh, for a non-student to sit in the student section back in the late 80's it cost a fortune: $18. Seemed like a fortune to me anyways.

Solution: date an LSU girl.

I'd rather know I have a ticket to the game

I do not recall any student being turned away. No reserve seating. Student section was from about 30 yard line to the middle of the north end zone. The Band had from the 30 to the 50 yard line.

At the bottom of your student ID was numbers 1 though 8 or 9( don't recall exactly) The ticket taker would punch your ID on the number that represented the home game. once punched that was it no in or out.

Maybe in 1975. My tuition in the Fall of 1980 was $270-$280. In the spring semester it was just over 300.

6 bucks a game in 2001-03 if I remember correctly

Probably right. I remember it being $48 or $49 for the season in 2002.

And we actually got a sheet of nice looking tickets, too.

I didnt check my email all summer and missed out on student tickets. But I got I paid $100 for Bama, and $10 for Georgia and State. The rest of the games I got tickets for free. I think the season pass for student tickets were $120 so I made out even. Ik a people are selling their tickets for $300+ though so good luck.

Cheapest ticket on stubhub is $211. Comparable tickets to student section going for $300+.

I thought you used to be able to get a guest pass ticket if you were a student to go along with your student ticket.

naw, but you could upgrade a student ticket by paying the difference between student price and normal face value. That was the only way to get into the student gate without a student ID

Y'all are talking about the same thing. Either way, it's not an option for every game. I believe the guest upgrade is only available for non-SEC games.
