I will never forget the West Virginia game in 2011, when our secondary would sit on the sideline next to WV wrs during warmups and get wild and talk trash to get in their heads, then back it up during the game. We need that swag back.

Along these same lines if a team can develop a killer's instinct by getting a lead, increasing it and putting their opponents away, it would surely be great. But yes it is way too early to tell and we must see a few games to know if the Tigers can develop this trait.

A thread like this and not one comment about Dillon Gordon. He is "the meanie" on Offense.

He is a tackle in a tight ends body. He routinely drives his man off the line every play. And drives him to the whistle. It frustrates opponents badly and you if you look you will see Gordon kicking them when they are down. He is my favorite blocker and brings the nastitude that we need to make the ground game work.

On defense I don't know who that guy is.

I have thought this would be a huge factor to truly judging how good this team was. As much as I hate the word, the last 2 teams haven't had much "swagger." The 11 team knew how freaking good they were, and told the other team about it while they were straight beating them down. Hopefully we will see a little more of this for the 14 team.
