These rankings don't mean crap right now...there aren't any dominant teams right now and those very good teams are playing down to their competition...I have no idea who we are, but we are NOT the 5th best team in the country.

LSU has been ranked in the AP top 10 (at some point of each season) at least once, since 2001. Pretty amazing stat when you consider the longevity of building a perennially competitive program.
