How many weeks/months of rumors........

will this program and board have to endure? It's only week 4. No coach worth a damn is gonna say shite now.
Is there a guy out there now who is available? I mean a guy who is jobless or on TV, and it is ok to talk to him, and ok for the guy to acknowledge it?
The timing of this firing gives LSU time to make a good choice and be first to make inquiries. But be prepared for rumor and disappointment. Everything from Herman to Saban to Gruden to Archie Manning and Peyton as OC to the genetic material of Bill Walsh and Vince Lombardi being spliced together to clone a coach.

My prediction is we announce a hiring in the first week of February.

Fine with that. Lots of pro options floating around too by then.
I will miss Miles. With Saban and then Miles we got to be a spoiled fan base. We've been nationally relevant for 15 years. That's a damned nice stretch. With 2 national championships. I know I am spoiled.
