Until that year, CBS did one night game a year. Period. If a big game came along after that, oh well. (Georgia vs LSU 2003 for instance).

Big night game at Bama ..... Ok, we'll make an exception. As a concession, we will televise the LSU/Bama at night the next season in BR. Gee, you mean you'll make the rematch of the MNC your prime time game. Thanks for the concession.

s.coop...I'm not sure if I've EVER agreed with you...but you sure got this one correct...one snub after another, hard to believe LSU is actually a charter member of the SEC. Much of the blame for our poor treatment has to go back to our own athletic dept. ieptness over the years

LSU-Bama 2011 was the game of the century though. I'm pretty sure it's a commandment or law or something that the game of the century has to be played at night in prime time.

So Nick Saban cries about it, and the SEC listens. The Cap 1 wanted JFF, but Slive stepped in for UGA. So that's okay, but LSU is just supposed to shut up and deal with it.

Kentucky and Tennessee
Florida and Georgia

Yep, the SEC is all about fair play.

Mike Slive sucks. Has he ever done one thing to help LSU ? Always makes sure LSU is the team to get screwed in bowls and how many SEC champions in basketball have been an 8 seed like we were in '09?

if its true that silve pressured the cotton bowl to pass on us, we should leave the SEC. frick this. we have clearly inept/corrupt officials, we get fricked on our schedule while bama has everything laid out for them, we get pushed to second-tier bowls.

How much pull does the SEC office actually have when it comes to bowl selections?

It will take all of LSU's leadership to do that - AD, BOS, President, TAF Pres, Governor.

With Texas AM now in the league, LSU better learn how to stand up for itself quick.

Bama fan is right we got to go undefeated because a 1 lose bama team will get all the love, benefit of the doubt. I'm hating fricking Bama more and more. I hope Notre Dame wipes that arogant smirk off those gumps faces. They are fricking nuts.
