tackle the LB if you have to, DO NOT let him make that play. any penalty would have been better than the INT.

Yeah, he's a RB though and not used to that situation. Of course, he didn't know the guy was gonna pick it and was still trying to make the catch himself. Plus, you're not thinking of interfering when you need a TD to take the lead.

First of all the pass should have never been thrown to Ridley. We have tall, skilled receivers who should have been making the play. Bad call, bad pass.

If you watch it, the mistake Ridley made was stretching the route too far to the outside. The LBer covering him had no idea where the ball was, but Ridley kept drifting to the outside. His route was supposed to cut more to the inside, thus the location of the pass. By going too far to the outside, Ridley pulled the LBer into the pass and thus resulted in the pick.

If he runs the route correctly, its either incomplete or a TD as it would've been on his outside shoulder. The play started on the right hash and he went wayyyy too far to the left.

Still, need better on that play from both Lee and Ridley. In reality though, it was a stupid play call at that time. No advantage there.

And how much football have you played?...the pass should have been thrown deeper..whereby if Ridley doesn't catch it,...it goes out of bounds..lee knows this....but i would have rather seen him throw to Toliver and let T go up and grab one...TALLER RECEIVER,..RIDLEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN SECONDARY RECEIVER IF NOT COVERED....BACK WAS IN HIS HIP POCKET...

He (Lee) should have recognized that the defender had position and rifled it a little short and to the back shoulder instead of lobbing it out there.

Now, if JL was getting more snap time in practice with the first team...it could be something to work on. All in recognition, practicing and being comfortable in making those types of throws.
