How many of you really don't like the idea of lining up and raming the ball

Down the opponent's throat. Basically miles philosophy..this is not a debate about an efficient, successful offense or miles play calling. Simply just how fricking bad arse it is to line right up...toe to toe shove that ball up their arse..even when they know whats coming.

And clearly...if it ain't working please adjust...

This year??? We're bulldozing everyone..

If Fournette has more 2nd half carries than 1st half carries in 2016, LSU should be very competitive in every game. If you run him early, fall behind and have to throw late, they're fricked.

Bama basically laid the blueprint on how to give your tractor TONS of carries, but when to give him the carries, with a lead against a tired defense.

I like it when it can work on a team that can't keep up with us. I hate it when we're getting 1 ypc and we look like deer in headlights when it gets stopped.

I want to do what works best against that particular team.
I don't give a frick about a specific style of play.

I loved that drive we had against Ole Miss like 2 yrs ago. Hilliard and Fournette put in work. Ramming down a team's throat is always fun, but seeing multiple styles used effectively is ultimately more satisfying.

Simply put, when it works, it is much more enjoyable to watch than air raid style.

This needs to stop...I like what the previous poster said...get ahead and when they're getting tired..break them

I love physical smash mouth football, but I also understand the need to keep the defense off balance.

How many national championships have been won by teams that run Air Raid Offenses?

ZERO. End of discussion.

I don't like the idea of it when it's not working against a great dline.

I like the idea of being able to attack and exploit a defense's weaknesses..

and if they don't really have a weakness. then I like the idea of being able to mix it up.

This is all that matters. There has been/will be 127 threads like this over the offseason and this is the correct answer in all of them.

I wonder how much the 18 people that downvoted your post enjoyed the Alabama game last year?

I think this year , just like past years, we should be able to line up toe to toe with Bama and just steam roll them

If we can beat Bama with it, win the SEC west, and get to the NC game with it, why not? We've dominated the SEC in recent years with it, why change what isn't broken?

I just love the idea...it's what football really is about to me. Sure you have to mix it up and balanced...just the physicality and willpower...
