I predict there will be about 6,000 LSU fans there and about 3,000 UCF fans there. Local businesses have bought many thousands of tickets, but most of those seats will be empty. If you thought attendance at the last 2 Citrus bowls was bad, wait til you see this Fiesta Bowl. Less than 30K in the seats in a stadium with over twice that capacity.

It’s a new destination for LSU. Something different than Dallas, Houston or Atlanta

And fricking Orlando, which only gets cold and rainy on New Years Day when LSU is in town

There will be more UCF fans in attendance than LSU fans.

wut??? this is their superbowl. They dont play P5 teams otherwise, much less top 10 ranked P5 teams

We play P5 teams every year. P5 is just a label.

And I can tell you, no UCF fan is looking at this as our Super Bowl.

We respect LSU, and are happy to play you, but we'd much rather be playing Notre Dame.

Three of us from Albuquerque are making the 7 hour drive. Section 123
The 11 a.m. kickoff kinda sucks but we'd still like to tailgate with the Rant. I'll bring the Bloody Mary fixings.
We are in the Red parking lot. I heard that's the visitors.

Not I. Going to the Cotton Bowl though to see if Clemson covers the spread.

This would be LSU's biggest post season win since the 2008 National Championship Game. If you keep waiting for a bigger match-up to geaux, you might die first.

Packing the RV and driving from Dallas. Since I'm recently retired, I will use this opportunity to visit Tucson, Tombstone Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Coconino National Forest etc and attend the Fiesta Bowl.

You guys booking hotels by the stadium....you do realize besides the Westgate area(with a couple bars and shopping and restaurants...mostly chain) and Top Golf...there isn't much else to do in Glendale?

Better off staying in Scottsdale.

New venue, their 25 game win streak, our biggest bowl in 7 years, our fan base will show up. 15k isn’t unreasonable. Could be more.

This times a million. The stadium is almost an hour away from anything fun, be sure to stay near Old Town Scottsdale if you want to party.
