Agree totally Seriously, the worst rated passer in the sec last year, happy feet which he is all too happy to go to, junior season he states he's still in the learning process, whats the rush?

.Assault charges are a tad more serious than a dumb arse speeding with weed in a rental car.I don`t see him seeing the field again.

going 118 with burning weed is a bigger threat to the general public than kicking a dude during a fight that he probably started...

although I don't know what charges were filed in that case.

With the way CLM's team playing, pounding and pounding the ball, JL would have the most 2 INTs for the whole season. Not enough to need a felony's service.

If the legal process takes several months and JJ is cleared in the offseason (or gets a misdemeanor), could he use a redshirt and play next year...technically speaking?

Of course Les may not welcome him back, when you have Mett waiting in the wings.

Hello, Mett! JJ should be better off transfering to Delta State or the like if he's cleared.

JJ has to defend accusations of 2nd degree battery.
if the case goes to court, there are 4 outcomes:

1. guilty and up to 5 years in Angola

2. guilty and up to $2,500 fine

3. both fine and time in slammer

4. innocent

options 1 and 3 mean we never see JJ in an LSU uni again.
option 2 means it will depend on how JJ acts in court and what the case proves. He might be allowed back and he might not.

if he is innocent and it takes a long time to find that out, we may see JJ in uni, but not until 2012.

Its not going to be any time soon unless the case falls apart ASAP.

So... he is suspended until the case is resolved in some way.

Shepard attempted to influence testimony NCAA was going to hear from Shep's cousin. NCAA hates that. I am hoping Shep is back in uni for the Bama game. Florida game would be even better.

Just saw where most of the Miami players are only suspended 1 game for improper benefits.
Some also have to pay the monetary value of the benefits. If NCAA players are really that poor, it will be more than one game.
