This is what I believe and why Im willing to let Jennings show what he can do next year before considering him a lost cause.

Can't understand why everyone believes that we've already hit the what you see is what you get time frame

Because most people believe Jennings has a low ceiling. If he had a lot of raw talent, I think people would view this a bit differently. Harris has raw talent.

You and I both know that this board would react the same way if it were Harris playing the same way.

If they played the exact same offense like read option it takes no time.

How many programs run the read-option as the fixture of their offense though?

I don't think so. It's obvious he has a ton of ability and honestly I haven't seen much from AJ. I believe some would bitch regardless but most were willing to take a few lumps and develop him this year.

As it sits now, he has very little game experience and we're back to where we were a year ago.

too many variables to what typical means, Urban Meyer won it all with his 3rd string QB

I don't know about that. We were two games away from a losing record.

Winning games minimizes problems and losing magnifies them. I highly doubt anyone would be willing to take their lumps en route to 6-7.

They should require Wunderlich testing for incoming college QBs or something similar. I'll take a smart, no mistakes guy with talent over a home run guy. It's what we need in our offense.
