You are retarded if you think he does not make reads and check downs.

JJ does this. Doesn't make him a good QB.

Rarely see him make the right read or check down past the primary receiver. He locks on to the first receiver. Maybe you should watch the game.

If JLee starts that game, LSU wins going away because we would have forced AU to be in more of a passing mode than they are comfortable with.

That is speculation.

Our OL was too disappointing to make that a sure thing.

I honestly think we should stop recruiting these athlete/project type QBs who may not pan out and go for drop back, pro-style QBs who may be more polished.

If Darron Thomas would have come to LSU, he would have definitely been converted to a WR and rode the pine for at least 3 years.

Thomas really is not a great QB. He is good, but not great. He is just in a great offensive system. He made a great choice for himself to go to Oregon.

At this point we basically need better players/greater impact players at the QB position.

It is very amazing how an impact player at the QB position can work wonders for a team. We played a team like that last week.

Shepherd got told some BS too.

Darron Thomas could be the 2nd coming of Manning and his QB talent would not have been realized by Miles and Crowton.

Thomas would be a reserve DB at LSU.

He would have still started jj anyway. So it really doesn't matter. LSU doesn't develop talent.

Miles screwed us by losing that quarterback. Anyone who has watched a single Oregon game this season can tell he is a exceptional quarterback and is what we missed out on at LSU. Miles the great recruiter everyone!

Not to knock the kid, but he isn't anything incredibly special. He is a good QB that plays under a great a coach in a great offensive system.

If he would have come here, he'd look like . . . well, an LSU QB.
