Headed down to BR for the game Nov 5 as a KSU fan. Have an opportunity to buy tickets in the South Uppers. How is that section as far as crowd, noise, view, etc.?

It's way up there. Likely Bama visitors section. I'd honestly wait and find a ticket on Gameday.

Thank you. Feel desperate without them in hand, but would like to get something in the lower bowl. Will keep looking. Any tips for finding tickets on gameday? Feel free to send me an email. tbendall6@gmail.com

You can go to lsutix.net and go to seats 3d from the tickets drop down menu. Then type in section and row and it will give you the view.

The game is unwatchable from the 600 level in Tiger Stadium. I only made that mistake once before vowing to never do it again.

I disagree. While you are definitely far away from the field, the layout of the section more than makes up for it. Only 10 rows or so. The aisles are wide and the seats are wide. You are not packed in like sardines as is the case at BDS or Neyland. The concourse behind the stands is rather wide and you can still see the field.

I don't know about concessions because I'm a cheapskate and haven't bought any in my few trips up there.

OP should buy the tickets.

Don't buy those tickets man. You can easily find tickets on campus on game day. How many tickets are you gonna need?

Ideally 2-3 together. Know 3 will be a little tougher. What's the best plan of attack here? Seek out people selling or mingle at tailgates and throw in a plug?

It's a really unique section in TS. Few rows, wide open concourse, etc. if you get tickets there, buy some of those small cheap binoculars.

Dude....don't listen to those pretentious fools. My seats are up there....here is a list of perks.

1.the only way up is by elevator. You get up there in seconds.
2. The entire south upper is 5 rows. That means no lines for concessions or bathrooms....ever! Saturday is was able to get my 2 boys to the bathroom and grab nachos all during a TV timeout....didnt miss a snap. The east sideline it take 20 minutes to piss and another 10 to get concessions. It's like sardines packed in a can down there.
3. The view is great. I don't have eagle vision and see perfectly fine up there. The vantage point is excellent.
4. The Concourse is 20 yards wide. The view over the south side look back at the box is awesome.

It's bama....I would not walk around looking for a ticket if I had the chance to get them now.
On gameday....you could get fake tickets or get price gouged out the wazzu. Trust me friend....you'll be happy with the south upper. My buddy has east sideline 26 rows up and he and I both prefer south upper. They put some thought into designing the new South upper. It's spacious. Like I said, the view is great. You don't need binoculars if you want to watch football. Now if you want to get close ups of irrelevant things like Sabans veneers, then grab a pair

There will be lower bowl tickets for sale all over the place once you get on campus.

Just walk around Tiger Stadium and you'll see people holding up tickets for sale.

Don't buy from the black guys selling. They're scalpers/con-artists trying to rip you off.

I buy just about all my tickets on the South End, around to the East Side.

You should be able to find tickets at Face or below.

The Bama game is the hardest ticket to find multiples for, but you should be able to find some. Be there 2-3 hours before kick-off. You'll pay more earlier, but they'll be more tickets for sale then.

Don't do this guy a disservice! True you may find some tickets on campus game day for big, big bucks. Mostly singles and 3 together will be more difficult. This is Bama! Good tickets will be hard to find on game day. Don't go to Baton Rouge without tickets in hand.

TD has a ticket board. DandyDon.com has a ticket exchange as well.
