We all know that SW would never offer a HC job to Will Wade.

I also believe that WW would never come back to LSU, SW or no SW.

Why can't he come back? Petrino is back at Arkansas, Mulkey left Baylor for us, players are transferring back to former teams. Is there a law against it or something?

Woodward isn't going to hire him back...no matter what.

Even if LSU tried to get him back, he wouldn't take the job. Bridge was burnt both ways. Can't say I'd blame him.

There was never going to be “draconian “anything. If you look at all the schools involved only Oklahoma state took it in the chin and that was just 1 year tournament ban,
And they were dumb because they cooperated

It was something that was seen as "couldn't happen." But also what about the others? Did anyone really think Bobby Petrino would be back at Arkansas? The former running back from Ole miss is about to go back there, etc . Wade coming back to LSU can only not happen if people don't want it to not happen. Where there is a Will there is a way

It would, and it would be fine, they are completely powerless at this point anyway. The SEC by itself has more power than the "NCAA"

He’s an idiot. He’s also bringing up a program before the transfer portal with a coach who was coming off of a show cause himself. Pearl, like most great CBB coaches, got caught cheating and worked his way back.

Best interview ever. Really gets down to the nitty gritty. Wade talks to McMahon and tries to help him.

Pre-portal era
But CMM is getting 2 more years so if he hasn’t produced by then, lsu needs to go a different direction.
Finally, there were no draconian sanctions pending.

This shite is why the rant is fun to read. The Will Wade fixation has already joined other LSU fan forget-me-nots like the Stony Brook victory lap, no live Mike the Tiger ever again in Tiger Stadium, and the Tiger band never playing Neck again.

I doubt I will watch McNeese's tourney game but its hard not to pull for them. The more Wade wins, the bigger the frustration for the fans that can't let go of Wade, especially the ones that won't accept that he will never coach LSU again.

Funny stuff.

Just watched this Doucet-Wade interview. A good watch. Very candid.

One thing that stood out is Wade repeatedly bringing up how difficult the LSU job was, implying due to major disconnects and obstacles from administration hindering the program. Which is what we already knew. Said where he had the program would have probably been the ceiling, until he got the resources and support that he needed to take it to the next level.

You are probably building a huge Eiffel Tower Erector set with your best friends right now. Enjoy…in the meantime I’ll keep having fun on the Rant.
