How happy are you that Luther Davis never suited up

If I remember correctly, I recall that he had committed to LSU but then took a visit to BAMA and Miles then pulled his scholarship offer.

Correct, but I think there was also some issue with Davis not disclosing the visit or misrepresenting it to Miles.

Davis took a visit there and told our staff he was at his gmaws funeral. Then turns around and gives an intereview about his visit to the rivals bama mods. Miles pulls his offer. Not to mention before that he named probably 4-5 different schools as his "leader" at some point.
He also told ESPN before the 2008 LSU/Bama game that Miles told him Nick Saban was the devil during his recruiment.
Never recorded a sack in his college career.

It will be interesting to see if this grows legs and causes any problems for the Gumps and Nicky. Less benefits to players from agents and some improper "tutoring" caused a recent reduction of scholarships and a bowl ban to North Carolina.
