How good would Andrew Hatch have been in this offense?

Kid was smart, and undefeated as a starter...I’ll hang up and listen.

I was thinking about this just yesterday.

He had all the tools and smarts to be successful.

What Hatch had for arm strength was nowhere near SEC Caliber. Especially if he wanted to be more than a game manager.

Not very. He didn't have the arm for it. Hatch was better in the offense that he played in than in this offense.

This offense relies on a smart QB and capable WRs, which we have. This is also why I get so annoyed with people upset that we didn't implement it last year -- we went into last season with a QB competition and inexperienced WRs. If Narcisse or McMillan had won the QB competition, we would have done a lot of things differently, and we had a very inexperienced group of WRs last year who could not have executed these route concepts.

He would have been better than he was assuming the offense is played to his strengths, I don’t really know what those were though honestly

Probably very well.

He looked pretty good in just 5 games in 2008, and he was stellar at Harvard.

Just because Joe makes it look easy doesn't mean anyone can do it.
There aren't many guys with the intelligence and the arm accuracy to make the throws, on time, to make it run smoothly.
