We keep hearing about the offense & how explosive they are suppose to be (passing anyway). What about the defense & is it going to be able to pressure JL into mistakes? Or will this basically be the same type of defense he's been seeing all year?

It's been coached by Bill Stewart, so the tackling is more like a feisty hug, which could be creepy enough to induce fumbles.

And how did they let Maryland give them such a game last week? Temple is all over Maryland right now in the first half.

Yeah but Temple has that beastly DT by the name of Muhammad Wilkerson.

Oh wait, he's in the NFL now.

Crowton pulled out all the stops last week in his play book

Crowton used his secret playbook last week.

Now it's no longer a secret.

Good, but not great. They have one sack on the year, so pressure should not be a major factor. Their defensive rank in most categories is somewhere between 30 and 60.

Good for the Big East. They have an undersized front 7 though. Expect a lot of running against them.

They don't even use a front 7.

They have an undersized front 6.

Not as good as Temple's who just beat Maryland 38-7. We lost a lot from last year too, but our coaches on defense remained after Coach Stewart left. Bring your best O, we will bring our best D and see what happens!!!
