I hope lf has more carries than tm, that means lf is going buga mode because imo tm can be a feature back...

Great change of pace back. Curious to see what next year brings for him. He reminds me of a Pierre Thomas type back. Scat back so to speak.

We used Magee the same we use all our RBs.

But we shouldn't. He SHOULD be a change of pace back. There was a reason he moved to receiver for a short period of time. He has the skills to be that change of pace, rather than a hard hitter between the tackles like LSU is use to.

Pierre Thomas isnt a change of pace back or a scat back.

Neither is Magee. Hes 215lbs+ and he is used the exact same way that Hill was used. We dont use him any differently than we use Hill.

He was just Hills backup. We dont really have a scat back or a change of pace back on the team. And if we do, they dont see the field.

Hes not a burner. He doesnt have great moves. Hes a low to the ground, hard running, 1 cut and up the field RB. He isnt a scat back. De Anthony Thomas is a scat back. Jeff Scott from Ole Miss is a scat back.

He was moved to WR for a bit because he was thinking of transferring and we wanted to keep him and thought that he would be able to see some PT at the slot WR. And it didnt workout. And he moved back to RB and is now over 215lbs.

Hes not a scat back. Why should we use him as a scat back?He doesnt posses scat back type skills. Hes just shorter than most RBs we are used to. And he was very good and effective in our system this past year. We used him great last year.

Did you not watch any games this year?? Hes been the same size since spring. 215lbs.

Im guessing his 40 is the high 4.5s - 4.60s. Hes not a burner by any means. But is def fast enough and not slow.

Magee is not a change of pace. I'm thinking guys like gore, Calhoun and most recently Brazil. Those were guys I would consider scat backs. Gore and Calhoun transferred and Brazil got the boot. Really trindon was the only rb under miles that fit that mold. He still didn't get a lot of carries.

I think Trindon got his most carries his freshman year. probably LSU's all time ypc leader

Magee will be the starter early, but the carries will be even. After a while, Fournette will start and pull away in carries. it's going to be a 25-30 carry difference at least at the end of the year.

Terrence Magee is a really good and productive back, I really hate the need for Tiger fans to shite on him because we had Hill and Now Fournette

In my opinion, Magee is the most underrated player at Lsu in a long time. I think this year with Hill gone u will see!

This good :holdingmyarmsallthewayout:

Magee is a very good back. He is capable of carrying ball effectively 20+ times per game if needed. Fortunately we don't need him to carry it that much. I really like the Pierre Thomas comparison.

I think he will be the shotgun, 3rd down or change of pace back, whereas LF will be more I formation between the tackles (JH) type of back. I can see them using Hillard on short yardage situations.

Watch Bishop Sankey and you'll see Magee with more carries. IMO, he is faster than Sankey, but both are short, but sout power backs, also like Abdullah.

My posts weren't to downplay Magee's talents, but Fournette is on a whole other level.

He's a good back but he's not better than Fournette

I expect Fournette to bust out against Wisconsin and never look back
