His defense is about to wreck shite again this year even filled with true freshmen.

It's almost a given that someone will throw 4-5 million at him to be a fbs HC or NFL DC in the offseason.

I think we ought to enjoy him while we can because I don't see a scenario where he's our DC next year. Just too good of a coach to be a college DC imo.

Maybe he'd go NFL DC, but I don't think he wants a HC job. At least not yet.

At some point the conversation will be O or Aranda.

I love O, but you won't find another Aranda.

Choice: Aranda all day.

I think NFL DC will be his next move. I could see it happening after this year. Hopefully it doesn't, but this is the risk you run when you rely on elite coordinators on both sides of the ball.

If the head coach is winning, he stays.

You would have people jumping off of ledges if Alleva demoted Orgeron after a 9 or 10 win season to promote Aranda.

Aranda isn't just a take off and run kind of guy. Of course promotions are in his future and who wouldn't want to coach in the NFL, but y'all need to give it a rest. He'll be at LSU next year and most likely several more. He knows what kind of talent he has here and how good of a job he has. Not everyone wants to be the Browns defensive coordinator believe it or not.
