As obvious as it probably will sound UF and AU games will foreshadow the season.

10-2 would be an awesome season given the youth this team is playing. We likely lose 2 of..

A&M, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, MSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas

Gainesville will most likely be the farthest they go.

Miss State will show us a little then Auburn will show us the rest. If we still undefeated after the Auburn game we could be very good. Lots of young guys. Just need to get them to believe.

It all depends on how fast they can address the issues.

Run blocking needs some help. The holes haven't been there and this is the area we were supposed to rely on. I think it will get better as the passing game improves and teams aren't as quick to load the box.

Intermediate passes seem to be missing. Situations like 3rd and 8, we are throwing the ball 30 yards down field rather than just moving the chains. Maybe the intermediate passing is good and they aren't breaking it out until it's needed, I don't know.

Screen passes obviously need some touch.

All in all though, they seem to be further ahead than most expected. The only team I'm concerned with on our schedule right now is Auburn.

It's still hard to tell. As good as the division is, every teams looks to have its weaknesses. With a little luck, an undefeated season isn't completely out of the realm of possibility. 1-2 losses is much more likely but probably still good enough for the playoffs.

I think its possible to run the table and win an NC, I really do. There isn't a single game I don't think is winnable and that we won't be favored or only slight underdogs (4 points or less).

That said, I've been watching CF for long enough to know you need a lot to go your way to bring home the title and I don't know if that will happen. You always need a couple "lucky" breaks. I also think for that to happen a few areas we have to improve:

-DL, its played well but it HAS to get better for us to win it all. We've never won a NC without a dominant defensive front.

-Jennings, also played well so far but has to continue to grow. Intermediate routes, screen passes, etc.

-LBs, have to live in to their potential. They have all the talent and experience needed, just need it all to click.

-OL, stay away from the injury bug, continue to impose will.

Other then that I think we have all of the other pieces to win it all at this moment. RBs, WR/TEs, DBs, Special teams, coaching, fierce home crowd, under the radar approach (starting the year outside the top ten), and a manageable schedule.

Anything can happen, 10 wins if not more. Can't wait to find out.

This game more than any.....the gaytors have a lot to prove and their D is impressive. Plus we never really play well at their place.

That's pretty much it.

I think this team will be a buzzsaw after those games regardless of their outcomes.

This team can beat any opponent on any given Saturday - it's just a matter of doing it.
