Did they really close them off at 8:30? Are they any more empty than for the NSU game?

The lots are still open and taking payments.

FIgured as much. Cutting off at 8:30 is a bit ridiculous.

I only make it to a couple games per year. What lots are pay lots? Are the ones by the box pay lots?

Easy rule of thumb is if it's between Highland and Nicholson it's either a pay lot or a permit lot. Everything on the Law School side of Highland and the Alex Box side of Nicholson should be free game except for that lot that used to be old Alex Box. Just a general rule of thumb.

I was tailgating with a group when LSU first started charging to park in the interior lots. Most of the day it was just a parking attendant sitting there.

One car came in to park and we all started chanting, "car #1, car #1, car #1.". We got to chant for car #2 and that was it for the day.
